David H. Nguyen, Ph.D., is a tumor biologist developing image analysis algorithms to advance digital pathology for cancer diagnostics. His algorithms quantify knowledge-based features of tissue architecture so they can be included in machine learning models that predict clinical outcome. Dave obtained his B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University. Prior to this, he was an Affiliate Scientist in the Molecular Biophysics and Integrated Bioimaging Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Web: www.TSG-Lab.org

Mohammad Esmail Akbari is a Professor of Surgical Oncology at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (SBUMS). He is the head of Cancer Research Center and comprehensive Cancer Control Center at SBUMS, a board member of EURAMA (Europa-Asian Breast Cancer Association), a member of Iranian and the American Association of Surgeons and the President of the Association of World with No Tobacco. He is the editor in chief of Iranian Cancer Prevention Journal. Furthermore he has been chancellor of Isfahan University of medical science and deputy for health in Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) for more than 12 years. He has published a considerable number of papers and books in the field of epidemiology of cancer and oncology

Sergey Suchkov was born in the City of Astrakhan, Russia, in a family of dynasty medical doctors. In 1993-1996, was an Executice Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK.Dr Suchkov is a Co-Supervisor over the Russian-American Agreement on scientific and clinical collab-oration in the field of ocular immunology between Russian Academy of Sciences and National Insti-tutes of Health (NIH); in 1991-1995 – a member of The Reciprocal Exchange Fellowship Program between Russian Immunological Society and British Society for Immunology.Dr Suchkov is a member of the Editorial Boards of many international journals including EPMA Jour-nal (Springer, Brussels) and “Personalized Medicine Universe” (Elsevier, Japan).

Professor Beebe is a Research Professor in the Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics at Old Dominion University (ODU). He received his PhD in Medical Sciences (Pharmacology) at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 1982 and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He was a Fulbright and Marshall Scholar in Oslo, Norway. He is the author of 125 peer reviewed manuscripts and books chapters. He was awarded two NIH grants analyzing structure and function of Protein Kinase A and cAMP signal transduction. He now investigates mechanisms of NanoPulse Stimulation (NPS) in cancer and biology. He has trained over 30 graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, is a member of Editorial Boards for four journals and is the Chair of the ODU Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).

Helané Wahbeh is the Director of Research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University, and president of the Parapsychological Association.

Dr. Wahbeh is clinically trained as a naturopathic physician and research trained with a Master of Clinical Research and two post-doctoral research fellowships. She has published on and spoken internationally about her studies on complementary and alternative medicine, mind-body medicine, extended human capacities, stress, posttraumatic stress disorder and their relationships to physiology, health, and healing.

Victoria Seewaldt, M.D., the Ruth Ziegler Chair in Population Sciences, and professor and chair, Department of Population Sciences, is an accomplished clinician and researcher who's devoted to improving the lives of her patients and the community at large. She has led community outreach education efforts on cancer prevention through personal well-being and directed research aimed at finding biomarkers that can be used for early cancer detection, particularly triple-negative breast cancers that are especially resistant to treatment.

Dr. Seewaldt received her medical degree from University of California Davis, and completed her residency and clinical fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle. She then pursued a medical oncology fellowship with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and then became an assistant professor at The Ohio State University.

Professor Safa received his Ph. D. in MCDB in 1980 from Iowa State University.In 1987, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago and was Director of the Laboratories of Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics, and Molecular Pharmacology, respectively in the Section of Hematology/Oncology from 1990-1996. In 1996, he accepted a tenured Associate Professor Position in the Department of Experimental Oncology, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and was promoted to tenured Professor in 1999. Dr. Safa was Director of the Drug Resistance Program at Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC from 1998-1999

His research interest includes multi-targeted therapy of pancreatic tumors, brain cancer, and breast cancer through modulation of the death receptor signaling pathway in cancer cells.
