Dr. Bennett is a 22-year breast cancer survivor. She is featured in the first ad campaign for MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. As a result, that commercial received a Cleo award for the very first “Making Cancer History “ commercial series. She has been featured in the Texas Monthly Magazine, in flight magazines for formerly Continental Airlines, participated in a ground-breaking ceremony at MD Anderson for the Mayes Clinic Building, has been featured on the Anderson website and in a book for newly diagnosed MD Anderson cancer patients. Currently she serves as an advocate to the Advanced Breast Cancer Committee at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Bennett also serves as an advocate on a Department of Defense grant submitted from MD Anderson Cancer Center. She also reviews and provides input on grant proposals for the Department of Defense on breast cancer research.

Dr. Rufus Mark is a radiation oncologist in Phoenix, Arizona and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Baylor Scott and White Medical Center–Waxahachie and HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. He received his medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
